Introduction to Tai Chi Class

Free Introduction to Tai Chi Class - Tuesday, March 19th, 2:45pm, Sedgefield Elementary School. Tai Chi instructor, Marti Lillich, will lead us.

Wear comfortable clothing and flat shoes. No mat needed.

Tai Chi is described as “meditation in motion”, a slow motion exercise while focusing on your bodily sensations. Muscles are relaxed and joints are neither fully extended or bent. Connective tissues are not stretched. This mind/body practice, which originated in China, has value in treating or preventing many health problems. All fitness levels can participate to help maintain strength, flexibility, and balance.
